This is a outstanding stand alone program and has a test feature with sample fonts so you can see which font is best on the background.
Create a gif image in photoshop or elements 100 x 100
In S Tile open the blank image
Go to Gradient > Two Color Resize to 100 x 100 and choose Elliptic press ok
Double Click on the Gradient

Go to effects > Distortions > HarmSwizzle
(See below image for visual)
Go to Image > Seamless > Edge Merge > 1/8
